MY FAIRY ENCOUNTERS: PART I

By Beth Geer

The time has come for us to begin living as part of nature, not as one who has dominion over nature. At first glance, this may not sound like anything to do with the teachings from A Course In Miracles, but it’s time we learned to truly apply its teachings to the world around us – this means living our truth as beings at one with all other living things.

Can we do this? Can we see ourselves as one with the entire planet? And the biggest challenge is yet to come; can we see ourselves as one with beings from other planets? Can we see beyond the illusion of physical form and embrace the Light within all things?

What I am about to share with you below, is a tentative step towards a greater understanding of what lies beyond what our limited physical eyesight can see. Spirit is rich and diverse in His/Her giving – life is everywhere and there is so much we cannot see! And we are each a part of this wonderous world. We can engage with it once we learn how, and it is crucial to our development that we do indeed grow in our spiritual thinking. The good mother earth and all her inhabitants need our love now, more than ever before in the history of the world. Do you want to be a part of the problem, or the solution? The Course tells us the solution lies in a shift in our beliefs which causes a shift in perspective. Can we shift our beliefs to believe there are some things we do not yet understand, in a world we cannot see, but we are one with, nonetheless? Can we learn to feel Love’s Presence in everything around us – both in the seen and unseen? Are we willing to acknowledge there is a world beyond this one, one that we cannot see, but is just as real?

“Beyond this world there is a world I want.” (A Course In Miracles W. Lesson 129)

INTRODUCTION

You could say I’ve always had one foot in another world. I’ve never really cared much for the current reality we seem to live in, and underneath it all, I’ve always yearned for another. Someplace else… This feeling wasn’t depression per se, but rather a deep feeling of homesickness. Like I was sent to the wrong planet or something. I just didn’t think this world was the place I really belonged. This feeling began at a very young age – as in my single digits – and continued through adulthood. Because of this, early on I was driven to read books about anything and everything science fiction, fantasy, and the like. I loved the idea of magic, dragons, unicorns, and fairies. I figured I must’ve come from a place that had these things before I was born because I loved them so much.

As I grew older, this feeling led me on to deeper subjects such as books on meditation, angels, tarot cards, ghosts, near death experiences, UFOs, and astrology – to name a few.

All this reading and research was my endless quest for the truth. I knew there was more to our world than met the eye. Life couldn’t just be about being born, going to school, getting a job, retirement (if you live that long) and then nothing but death around the corner. Talk about depressing!

All my searching then, has led me to some wonderful, unexplainable, and downright miraculous experiences. I can honestly say, I’ve had my fair share of contact with otherworldly beings including spirits, angels, extraterrestrials, fairies and even sasquatch. It seems that if you build your end of the bridge to them, they will come.

In the stories that follow, I lovingly share some of my most recent encounters with a world our bodily eyes cannot see nor understand. Even so, this can change. And I want to help create that shift in our seeing.

“Nothing will change unless it is understood, since light is understanding.” (A Course In MiraclesCH9 V.6:5)

Now, rather than judging what I share here, allow these experiences to expand your mind and open your heart to new horizons of healing and peace. There is so much we do not yet understand, and understanding is light. So, let the light in!

“God created only the eternal, and everything you see is perishable.  Therefore, there must be another world that you do not see.”  (A Course In Miracles CH11.VII.1:2-3)

“The real world can actually be perceived.  All that is necessary is a willingness to perceive nothing else.”  (A Course In Miracles CH11.VII.2:6-7)

THE TALKING TREE

I live on a small hobby farm that is about 50 percent hayfield and grassy pasture and 50 percent woods. I have a lovely trail that meanders in and out of the woods and along the pastureland that amounts to about 2.0 miles. I like to walk this path daily with our dog, Freya.

Sometime in 2021, my husband added a few new trails in the woods for our family to enjoy and so I incorporated these into my “loop.” After a while, I began to notice something strange – whenever I walked past a certain tree on this new loop, it would creak. It got to be so consistent, that I really began paying attention to it – and without fail every time I walked past it – CREAK!

The tree was able to make this consistent sound because it happened to have two central branches growing up the center, that intertwined against each other in one spot. They creaked with the wind of course, but also with seemingly no wind, perhaps only when the tree decided to.

I thought about this phenomenon. I realized that there were few sounds a tree could actually make. They could rustle their leaves and creak their branches but that was about it. Otherwise, they were a silent presence in the woods. I was also aware of how everything in a forest is connected by the “mycelial mat.” This is a vast underground network of fungal filaments growing along the tree root system, connecting all the trees, and perhaps other plants growing in the soil. This fungal network has been studied, and researchers have found that trees use their symbiotic relationship with the fungus as a sort of “internet” to communicate with each other. They can use it for a variety of communications, including sending nutrients to ailing trees – they know the tree is in need to begin with, through the fungal network. In return for this service, the fungus is given nutrients by the trees themselves. All this activity takes place beneath the ground and is completely unseen.

I absolutely loved the idea of trees communicating with each other, but since my body is not connected to the mycelial mat, a tree would have to use “human means” to communicate with me, such as sound. And so, I found myself contemplating this “talking tree,” figuring that a “creak” was the loudest sound it could possibly make to get my attention. If that’s true, then by my reckoning, it must literally be shouting “HELLO” to me at the top of its lungs.

I began acknowledging this tree everyday as I walked past it. Sometimes I’d just put my hand on it in passing to say hello. Other times I’d rest my face or body against it for a few moments, sending it love down through its roots to all the rest of the living things interconnected in the forest through the mycelial fungal mat.

I loved this interaction with the woods, and the feeling of being a part of nature – not just a by passer. This went on all winter of 2022.

THE FAIRY GARDEN

By early springtime, I learned about how to make a fairy garden. I understood that the garden wasn’t in worship of the fairies or to “get” anything from them. It was simply an acknowledgement that they existed, and you were showing appreciation for their presence, though you could not see them, helping you tend your garden.

I decided my special talking tree was the perfect place to show such appreciation.

So, I gathered a few seashells, a couple of rocks I’d painted a few years ago, two small silk flowers and a piece of gossamer floral fabric. It wasn’t much, but it didn’t have to be.

I placed the items aesthetically around the base of the tree, tied the fabric around the trunk of a smaller nearby tree (the talking tree was too thick!) and found a big piece of cut wood to use as a sitting stool at the base. It all looked so lovely and delicate.

I sat there on the stool for a moment in meditation, asking if the fairies liked what I’d set out. Did they mind it? Too intrusive?

The message I received within was, “We LOVE it!”

That day had been warm and much of the snow had melted. The next day the temperature had dropped significantly overnight, and the melted snow turned into a thick layer of ice in many places.

I took Freya out for her daily walk and as we approached the woods, there was a slight downward slope as we transitioned from the pasture to the wooded area. I hadn’t yet realized just how icy it was, and before I knew it, both feet slipped out from underneath me.

As I briefly hung mid-air my only thought was, “I’m going to fall flat on my back and hit my head!”

I had no time to put out my arm, twist, or do anything. I was going to fall with my full body weight onto my back.

Then, at the moment of impact with the ground, all the momentum left me. The energy of my fall simply vanished, and I found myself quietly lying on the ground. There was no transition from falling to lying down at all! It was as though something came along and diffused the energy of my momentum and gently laid me down.

I laid there a moment, thinking adrenaline had blocked the pain and feeling of the impact. But there was nothing. No pain, no nothing. I got up and checked myself over and found no injuries. I was totally fine, as though nothing at all had happened.

I shot a thought out to the fairies, “Did you guys just help me?” and I only felt the forest smile back at me from within. I felt a deep sense of love and mutual gratitude – a reflection of love given and received between myself and the living nature I cared so much for.

THE SASQUATCH

Coincidentally, during this same time, I was also gathering new information about the Sasquatch, or those beings better known as Big Foot. Up until this time, I only knew frightening tales of terror from up close encounters with them or sketchy, poorly documented reports of fleeting glimpses.

But recently, I discovered a new angle to the story on the internet; people were claiming these great hairy man-beasts were actually from another dimension. Such creatures were said to appear as the ape-like hairy men but could also transform into a ball of light and disappear into thin air. Most of them were also purported to be gentle creatures, and caretakers of nature and our planet. This all sounded fascinating to me.

According to these modern “Sasquatch experiencers,” such creatures also interact with humans by leaving specific arrangements of leaves, sticks and rocks to discover in our path. They use such arrangements to get our attention and communicate with us. One man reported several types of “nature arrangements” the Sasquatch used to communicate with him. They would often make an “X” with sticks or specifically place leaves in a certain way around the “X” which represented their clan in relationship with the man himself.

The meaning of such arrangements is specific between the person and the Sasquatch. They are not universally understood symbols. They are deeply personal communications the recipient must decipher for themselves.

I was intrigued to say the least!

So, for the next few days I kept my eyes peeled on my dog walks, searching the ground for anything unusual or that looked like it might have been “specifically placed” in my path.

I saw nothing. The forest floor looked like the usual mixed jumble of leaves, sticks and half melted snow. I sent a thought out to any Sasquatch who might be listening, that if they wanted to communicate with me, they’d have to make it something extremely obvious!

The next day was cold and windy. I could barely see to walk Freya, between my fluffy hat pulled down low to my eyes, and my fuzzy scarf hiked high up over my nose.

Then I saw something unusual. An arrow straight stick about a foot long came shooting past me from behind across the hard frozen snow. It blew past me in the wind at rocket speed and sped on down the path until I couldn’t see it anymore.

That got my attention! Though completely explainable, it was certainly something I’d never seen.

Then I looked down at my feet as I walked a few steps more and saw another arrow straight stick of the same size, lying horizontal on the ground with a beautiful yellow leaf lying next to it. Then a couple of steps further, the same exact arrangement, but the stick and leaf were lying vertically on the ground. Then two more steps, and there it was again, an arrow straight stick, with a leaf next to it, but lying horizontal again.

A total of three identical arrangements, with nothing else around them, lying on the clean white snow. Now the Sasquatch had my attention!

So, I asked them telepathically what the symbols meant.

The reply I received was, “The leaf and stick represent our relationship to each other as Sasquatch and human; we travel this world side by side.”

I then asked, “So which one of us is the stick and which one is the leaf?”

The Sasquatch replied, “Does it matter? They both come from the same tree. And just as a stick and a leaf appear very different, we too come from the same Source.”

                 Whoa. What an answer!

I then asked who or how many Sasquatches I was in contact with.

I received the impression of a father and two daughters. The two daughters have longed for a human contact for some time, but the father was reluctant to allow it, due to the negative thoughts of most humans as well as their inability to pay attention to nature around them enough to even notice contact.

But because of my fairy garden and the sensitivities towards nature I’d shown, they thought they’d give me a try. They were connected to a much larger clan that would perhaps reveal itself to me little by little in time.

                 Again, whoa!

I also gathered that the names of the two daughters were Ra and Sa. I did not get a name for the father.

That was the end of the conversation for the day, and I heard no more telepathically.

The next day, I went down my path as usual for my daily dog walk, not expecting to see anything unusual. However, a little way into the walk I saw a single, perfect acorn sitting on top of a lingering snow drift. It looked totally out of place there, resting gently atop the snow all by itself. I picked it up, wondering if the Sasquatch had placed it there for me. I decided to bring it to my fairy garden as another decoration.

A little further up the path, I came across three tail feathers lying in the melting snow – perfectly fanned out as though the ground itself plucked them from the bird as it sat there. This too, was unusual to see. I typically find only single feathers on the ground, but never three together and arranged so perfectly.

I knew then it might be my Sasquatch friends, so I asked them what it all meant.

The father replied to me within, “The acorn represents a seed that has been planted between us, and the three feathers represent my family of three, welcoming you gently as a feather.”

And that was all I heard, but it was plenty.

AN ON-GOING RELATIONSHIP

In the weeks that followed, contact with my unseen friends continued.

One day in March 2022 I noticed a perfect “walking stick” lying in the path, right across from my fairy garden area. It was perfectly white, with all the bark removed and a nice handle at the top. It was certainly out of place and conspicuous in its location across the path. Not only that, but it was about 2 feet too tall for me to use, but I figured it was probably the perfect length for a young Sasquatch. I have no doubt it was placed there next to my fairy garden on purpose. I sat on my stump and meditated on the symbolism. The answer was simple; the walking stick was left for me as a symbol of how the Sasquatch walk in the woods as protectors and caretakers, always focusing on the interconnectedness of all things – truly being a part of nature, not just a visitor. Such is the perspective of all living things on this planet, both the seen and unseen – a relationship to mother earth most humans need to relearn.

On this same walk, I also found a single leaf, fit neatly behind one of the silk flowers I’d tucked into the bark of the tree. Now, of course this could’ve blown there, but the chances ed slim, and it was securely placed. Plus, there was the coincidence of this appearing alongside the sasquatch-sized walking stick on the ground nearby. I had a feeling this was a fairy greeting.

On my next walk a few days later, I found another walking stick fashioned the same way, but this one was sized for me. I took that to mean I am learning to walk as the Sasquatch walk through the woods. It had been awarded to me for my efforts.

Then about a week later, I found yet another unusual thing; a few feet from my fairy garden I saw a white stick, shaped perfectly in the letter “Y.” I looked around to see if I could discover where it had fallen from, but none of the other sticks and branches matched the pristine white color. I sat on my stump once again and asked within, what the message was.

I immediately “received” that the letter “Y” represented the first letter of the father Sasquatch’s name: Yeme. I had never heard this name before and later looked it up. It means “seeker of truth and wisdom.” It also represents a friendly, approachable and generous person.

This interaction of course can be discounted in a myriad of ways, however whether it is real or unreal matters not to me. I am having a wonderful, loving time interacting with this unseen world of nature, and am thoroughly enjoying the exchange of gifts and “proof” from them, that they are indeed, real.

THE TALKING TREE BECOMES THE SILENT TREE

Since the activity with the alleged fairies and Sasquatch people from the unseen dimensions, my talking tree has become silent. I’ve heard no more creaks – not even during strong winds. This concerned me after a few weeks, worrying I’d done something wrong. Then one day I was leaning against the tree during a gusty wind, listening intently for the creaks I so loved, yet there were none even as I watched the branches swaying and churning. Finally, I just asked the tree from within if I had done anything to cause it to be silent.

The reply came instantly, “Absolutely not. It is simply no longer necessary for me to make any external sound to communicate with you. Can you not see how our relationship has shifted? We now commune together from within, and there is no need for sound. We can now enjoy a shared, still, communion within, with our Creator Who joins us both.”

I thought that sounded absolutely divine. And so, my talking tree had now become my silent meditation tree – and what a deeper and more rich experience our relationship was. We now enjoyed each other’s company in the holy peace and quiet of God’s stillness.

IN CONCLUSION

And so, my friend, engage with nature! There is so much to discover, and so much love to be shared. You don’t have to go far – you can open your mind to your house plants, pets or even just a small patch of grass or a tree growing along the sidewalk. I know of people who have bonded with the plants at the reception desk of their apartment building. Any living thing will do. Open your mind to infinite possibilities, because we have been living in the dark for far too long. Let the light of new understanding enlighten you.

Now is the time – we are awakening collectively at last, and you are a catalyst, riding on the leading edge of a new age, a new way of looking at the world and truly seeing what lies beyond the veil of our ego’s limited perception. You are, or you would not be here, taking in these words. Something inside you knows deep down there’s more to life. You want to know what lies beyond the veil. My friend, you are entitled to know because you are at One with ALL of it! Think how we can heal the planet and humanity if we all joined with God’s Will that we are One – in a realm beyond what our physical eyes can see.

We really have no idea just how big “creation” truly is. But I am excited to find out!
