A MESSAGE FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT
MESSAGE 5: YOUR PEACE IS MY COMMAND. Is it such a hardship to follow this one request? I ask only that you step away from what causes you pain. Yet you resist. You insist on holding onto your painful thoughts. Why is this? You resist because pain, fear and suffering are the emotions your ego needs to be fed in order to survive. And it wants to survive at the cost of your peace. Therefore, do not feed it. Starve it through forgiving all feelings of pain whence they arise. You do this by resisting them not. Then, once such feelings are recognized as unwanted, simply lay all associated thoughts of suffering down. In this way, you fast from fear, and feast on forgiveness. Your ego will literally starve to death, from the lack of drama it needs in order to be sustained by you.
Once you have freed yourself of all ego-driven thoughts, your heart will be overcome with My peace. And your peace, is My only command. A heart cannot be at peace unless it recognizes the truth of where it rests, which is also your Identity in Me.
A heart resting in peace, recognizes My Light within itself, and all other hearts that beat in Union as part of My One Love. And there are no exclusions to My Love.
Therefore, light is but the understanding of the truth of Who You Are. You are light. And if light is understanding that Who You Are is One, then you are One Light. And once you understand you are part of One Light, you literally become the light of the world. For through accepting this, you have come unspeakably far in understanding the path to healing all forms of suffering in both yourself and others. Suffering comes from thinking you exist outside and separate from My Light and each other. Peace comes from unity. And through acknowledging your unity and wholeness in Me, you access the power to heal all others who see themselves as outside and separate from All That Is.
You are the light – the understanding – as part My Wholeness. You shine your light as you see such wholeness everywhere. You look no more upon the world with the eyes of the body, but rather, through the feelings of your heart. Such inner “eyes” feel only unity and perfection, where there appears to be none.
Such is the true practice of forgiveness, which brings healing to all who falsely perceive themselves as separated. Such is the reality of My Love for you who have never been anywhere but resting healed and whole, in the peace of My eternal Love. You already rest in the peace that I commanded you to be upon your creation.
